Our Story

Bingo’s & Co. didn’t start as a business plan.

It grew out of the last few years of our lives — changing careers, raising a family, trying new things, making mistakes, learning quickly and figuring out what kind of life we actually wanted to build.

I’m PK. After around 15 years in banking, I left in 2021 to take a chance on something different.

At the time, the plan wasn’t perfectly mapped out. I just knew I wanted more freedom, more time with my family and the opportunity to build something of my own.

Since then, the journey has taken us through rideshare driving, hospitality, business, technology, content creation and plenty of ideas that never made it past the notebook.

Afro has been part of that journey the whole way.

Together we’ve experienced the highs, the setbacks, the financial pressure, the pivots and the moments where things finally started to click.

Along the way, we also realised something important:

A lot of the skills we had built through work and life could be used to create genuinely useful things for other people.

That’s where Bingo’s & Co. comes in.

Today, we’re building practical tools, sharing what we’ve learned and exploring ideas designed to help everyday Kiwis earn, understand, build and grow.

That might be a tool that helps someone understand their pay. An app that makes life easier for gig workers. A useful piece of content. A business idea. Or something we haven’t thought of yet.

We’re still early.

There’s no polished success story here and we don’t pretend to have everything figured out.

We’re simply building, learning and sharing the journey as we go.

And that’s exactly how we want Bingo’s & Co. to grow.
